Update - 2 Jun, 2026

Boxes will be delivered on Thursday mornings between 8am and 10am (usually before 9).

The produce will come in a wooden crate. We hope you'll return your empty crates. Not a big deal if we have to make a few extras.

Included in the Jun 4 box will likely be:

This box will be a little sparse again. We had a bug problem with several root vegetables and we mixed up our broccoli varieties (oops). There are plenty of other things growing but none are quite ready for harvest. Regardless, we are keeping record of all we deliver so we do not deliver less than we're paid for. Next week onwards the boxes should be filled with more variety and quantity. Thanks for your patience.

What gets us out of bed in the morning (besides kids)?

C Says: The garden is very beautiful to me, I like to be among the abundance and variety. I'm thinking about what I could cook, or preserve, but the flowers also give me the same feeling. I'm always striving for the idealized garden in my head, and every year it becomes more like that ideal. The challenge pushes me to keep trying new things. It's a fine use of time: I can see how much effort I've put into something. I don't feel like any of my time in the garden is wasted. Sometimes I have felt detached from nature, but in the garden I am among it, and feel smiled upon by my ancestors (my great-grandpa was a farmer).

D Says: It's much harder to mow by hand after the dew evaporates! I sort of started for practical/social reasons, but now I usually do it for fun. Swinging tools around, flinging compost, huge piles of grass and wood. Fires, fountains, and tiny seeds. I'd be bending the truth if I suggested an intellectual motivation.
